The Van Ness South Tenants Association has sent a letter to Vivmark Residential regarding the September 10 police operation and felony drug arrest at 3003 Van Ness.
The letter asks Vivmark for any additional information it has about the arrest, including where in the building it occurred and whether the person arrested is a resident. VNSTA also asked that senior management be made aware of the arrest and the history of similar incidents at 3003 Van Ness.
The letter again raises VNSTA’s concerns about security at the property, including broken security doors and inadequate screening of visitors at the front desk.
VNSTA has also submitted a Freedom of Information Act request to MPD seeking additional records about the police operation.
